Produced by Teton County Weed District in Wyoming several years ago, this 5.5” x 8.5” publication is an MWCA favorite, so much so that recently we had them reprinted for our distribution. While the brochure does refer to location and weed species in the NW Wyoming, area, the information provided in this beautiful and concise publication is relevant to everyone. The title, Why Should I Care, is what this publication is based on – if I am a hunter/outfitter, why should I care; if I am a landowner or wildlife enthusiast, why should I care, etc. There are ten noxious weeds profiled (salt cedar, spotted knapweed, perennial pepperweed, purple loosestrife, leafy spurge, oxeye daisy, houndstongue, Dalmatian and yellow toadflax, and Russian knapweed), as well as a section on myths and facts surrounding noxious weeds. These sell for $.50 each and come in bundles of 50 or boxes of 400. |
